Why yes, as a matter of fact we do have a brand new version of our best selling iTrip Auto FM transmitter. Thank you for asking.
Want to control iTrip with your iPhone? There’s an app for that!

Argh, we just got the previous version a couple of weeks ago!
Sorry to hear that, but that is great a product too. Are you enjoying it?
Hi Dave,
We are. I think it does as well as any FM transmitter can, given their technical limitations. The portability of it was what sold me, since we could easily move it from car to car–especially rentals!
looks real cool ill be picking one up and maybe doing a review on it
I'm happy to hear that. Thanks for letting me know. Playing your music in
rental cars is huge! Great point.
Hey that's great Brian. I look forward to hearing your feedback.
Cheers.
What is the difference between the ITrip and the RoadTrip – when is new RoadTrip going to be available and which one is better for IPod FM transmitter?
Is there a way to put this into international mode? I've read things online that doing this with older models works better if you can get 87.9 on the radio, which i can do. Any help? I've tried holding down various buttons without success. Since the instructions come in many languages, there must be an easy way to do this! Thanks
Hit the Menu button. The Preferences screen should come up with two options Reset and Options. Press and hold the far left button that corresponds with “Reset” after a few seconds Reset will change the US, press the button again to cycle through the different region modes US, EU(Europe), JP(Japan). There is no generic international mode on this model.
is there a way to get this new model into the international mode?
If you buy it internationally, yes. If you're planning to travel with it, you'll need to speak with Support directly.
You can contact our support department if you are planning to use the device
internationally and need to switch it to that mode.
I hope that helps,
Dave
That doesnt help Dave. I was told per FCC regulation your device does not have an international mode any longer. However, 87.9 is a legal US frequency yet I cannot access that station either. Please let me know if there is a way to solve this issue. Otherwise, unfortunately your product has become a huge disapointment.
Great to hear back from you Cody. I just realized my previous reply was from a year ago.
Did you speak to someone in our support department?
The new RoadTrip will be available very soon. I don't know the exact date
yet.
There are several key differences between iTrip and RoadTrip. One big one is
that RoadTrip has a cradle that holds your device in place:

smaller, but has app support:

Both are great products!
I hope this helps.

Will it charge an iTouch 3G? This is priority #1 for me as the old model wouldn't charge it thanks
Yes, it will charge. Thanks.
Thanks for the reply Dave. I am curious about the vagueness relating to setting international mode on? I did the same thing to get this to work better by tuning to 87.9 so why the mystery of how to activate this?
This is a key question as I am not going to spend $70 unless I know I can get the same tweaks to work to make it perform better like the old version
Thanks
We are not allowed to broadcast below 88.1 in the United States, as under
FCC law. Many iTrip models do have an International setting, and the iTrip
is programmed to that setting if it is being sold in Europe and certain
other areas. Sometimes you can research online to find out how to change to
other modes, but we cannot assist you with it.
I hope this helps.
Hate to disagree, but there are a couple of low power FM stations at 87.9. New licenses are not being issued, but the older ones are honored.
And that is why you are saying to contact support so if I am to travel to Europe and need to know how to set this they might be able to help me with this?
Thank you
They might be able to, but you'll have to check with them. I hope this
helps.
The all new RoadTrip is now available on our site: http://ow.ly/1Jjbt. Get one while they remain in stock if you like, I know they won't last long.
i am not sure if it is just my location but i just returned this exact model due to horrible audio quality, if you are looking for something to charge with the rare fm transmitter function then go ahead and buy this otherwise look for something else
Sorry you trouble. Did you contact our customer service department?
If you ever have an issue with our products please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Thanks.
Hey have are u doing? im just investigating the usability of this device and i was wondering ::
Does it have a built in battery for itself so that you dont have to have it on the charge to use it?,
Can this model run of the power of the ipod/iphone?
How strong is the signal?
How much bass is there?
ie (and i know this is hard to answer) but honestly what do u think the audio quality is like??
Also wondering if there is a new model coming out, and what features that will have?
If u have a model that has a battery in it? and yeh :P:P
Thanks muchly for your time, hope this helps alot of people out, other than just me :).
Peace
Jc

Who cares if its not allowed..it can be put in international mode into frequencies below 88.1. You may not be able to tell us exactly how. Since I’m not owned nor do I fear any monkey that says “this is not allowed”. Here’s a link on how to do it. http://www.ehow.com/how_7483793_enable-international-mode-itrip-autopilot.html If it is not allowed maybe it shouldn’t be an option..IDIOTS!!!!
