At Griffin, we have always encouraged bloggers, podcasters and video reviewers to fully disclose that they have received free product samples from us. The reviewer receives no payment for the review and is trusted to be honest in their review.
The Federal Trade Commission recently revised their Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising. Reviewers must disclose material connections with the seller of a product or service. Learn more here: http://ftc.gov/opa/2009/10/endortest.shtm.
Moving forward, any person who receives a product for free from us in exchange for an honest review must include the link: http://bit.ly/griffinreview. The link redirects to this page which has been written to clearly outline our relationship with said reviewer. By including the link to this page, the reviewer agrees that they have a material connection with Griffin Technology.
Reviewers must send us their reviews to review AT griffintechnology DOT com within 30 days of receiving a review product.
