Attending SXSW this year? We’re doing our best to be sure you score some Griffin goodies while you’re there.

South by Southwest is a yearly festival in Austin, TX, that brings thousands of people together to enjoy new music, technology and film. It’s an incredibly successful event that has grown astronomically over the years. It’s well worth attending!

Our friends at Eventbrite are having a big party on March 16th. If you’re in Austin, you don’t want to miss it.

There are tons of bands, two stages and some great Griffin goodies to be given away to a few lucky folks.

Did I mention it’s a free event? RSVP here now!

Awesome people at SXSWSouth by Southwest Interactive is an incredible celebration of all things technological. It’s the one time of the year that geeks and entrepreneurs from all corners of the planet gather in Austin to learn and socialize with their peers.

This was my third year at SXSWi and it was fantastic. To write a post about everything I learned and every person I met would take you weeks to read (not to mention write). I’ve decided to share my favorite moments from my time at SXSW with you in a fun list instead. Here goes…

My highlights from SXSW Interactive:

I know as soon as I hit publish I will remember more items to add to this list, so please consider this only a starting point in my mind. There are too many highlights to list from such a fantastic conference.

Were you at SXSWi? What were some of your favorite highlights?

SXSW Roadtwip Core Coversation

Next week we’ll be hoping on a flight to Austin for the South by Southwest Interactive conference, of course we’d prefer to be driving there :) .

This will be my third time heading to Austin to attend the biggest interactive conference in the world. Can you tell I’m excited?

I’m even more excited, because I’ve teamed up with Kurt Daradics to host a Core Conversation called RoadTwip. This will be a casual, open discussion about integrating social media into your road trips, and connecting offline and in person with your online friends. Please be sure to add it to your schedule. We hope to see you there!

Kurt will talk about his experience with friends, Jolie O’Dell and Jonathan Dingman from their RoadTwip across much of the country last year. It’s actually how I met them! There’s a great story about the trip in ReadWriteWeb as well.

I’ll be speaking about our recent CES Bound Las Vegas road trip, and how we tapped into location-based social networks to stay connected with you along the way. There’s a fun interview with Andrew Fowler and I on Newsvetter today.

If you’re a road trip expert or novice, we’d love for you to join this lively discussion. You’ll walk away with new ideas on how to hit the road, stay connected and build relationships along the way. It’s going to be fun.

Add RoadTwip to your SXSW calendar now, before you forget. You can also RSVP on Facebook to see who else is going to be there and to share it with your friends.

See you next week!

I love watching the countless reviews of our products on YouTube and other video hosting sites. I wish I had the time to comment on each one. It’s nice to see people actually unboxing our products and testing them in real time, but it’s even better when we can see it being used.

I was really entertained by Sukhjit‘s road trip video with her friend Rachael Joy. They were in the process of traveling from D.C. to Austin, Texas for SXSW. That’s a really long car ride! Google Maps has the whole trip clocked at about 1,526 miles. That’s about 23 hours!

iTrip road trip

In an effort to keep their sanity on the road, Sukhjit and Rachael made their own iTrip review. Check out the video, and you can read her blog to see the whole post. Enjoy it.
