Nov 10, 2009 Meet Sandy Chilewich

We are extremely excited to announce a partnership with designer, Sandy Chilewich.

Sandy Chilewich, the entrepreneurial and artistic spirit behind HUE, the hosiery firm she co-founded in 1978 and sold in 1991, opened her namesake New York-based studio/textiles laboratory in 1997. She introduced her next design-quake with RayBowl™ in 1997. In 2000 Chilewich introduced mats for the tabletop and the floor and bags for all sorts of uses – the first of her durable, easy-to-clean, woven vinyl designs in an assortment of colors and textures. That initial, wildly successful launch spawned an expanding range of products for an ever-greater variety of applications; today the washable vinyl textiles include those made of spun, tufted, and pressed vinyl.

Take a look at why this is a match made in heaven in the short video below. We think you’re going to be blown away by the incredibly stlyish new Griffin + Chilewich iPhone 3GS cases we’ve created.
